Birth doula in Bentonville, Arkansas

Welcome! — I’m glad you’re here

Born and raised in the Ozark Mountains, I am honored to serve families in the Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri area.

Experienced in providing care to first-time and seasoned moms, VBACs, cesarean section, home birth, and hospital birth.

How birth work found me

I believe birth to be a beautiful, transformative experience to the women and families who walk through it. Becoming a mother opened something in me— a deep reverence for birth, and a desire to serve others through it.

I believe an empowered pregnancy and birth translates to an empowered motherhood. It is my mission to bring an evidence-based approach to mothers seeking support during their pregnancy and labor so that we may work together towards a holistic and informed birth.

How I got here

My formal doula training is through Childbirth International, an accredited program that gave me a strong foundation in pregnancy, labor support, birth physiology, and postpartum care — including lactation support.

I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and spent nearly a decade working as a registered nurse in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how the medical system operates — both its strengths and its limits. Over time, I found myself increasingly disenchanted with the conventional approach to birth. I witnessed how often women’s voices were overlooked, and how little room there was for physiological, undisturbed birth.

Now, as a birth doula and student midwife apprenticing toward licensure, I’ve found my calling in supporting families in a more personal, empowering way. After having two home births of my own while still working in the hospital, I carry insight from both worlds — and I use that perspective to guide and advocate for my clients with compassion, wisdom, and respect.

The life that shapes me

When I’m not at a birth you can find me at home being mama to two wild, little boys. Parenthood has been the sweetest version of my life and I’m happy to do it alongside my guy. My family of four live in the Eureka Springs, AR area which allows me a wide area of women to serve in Northwest Arkansas!

My favorite things include the month of October, boiling hot coffee in the morning, medium-rare steak, walking barefoot in the grass, staying up late to chat with my husband, and listening to my children laugh.

I like to think of myself as good-natured and down-to-Earth. Working as a doula, I have been lovingly duped as “your built-in best friend who happens to know a lot about birth” which I will gladly be for you.

What I Offer

Whether this is your first birth or you are an experienced mama, I offer my services throughout your pregnancy, labor and birth, and early postpartum. My care is completely customizable for you, but in general, here is a brief description of my offerings:

  • Receive guidance as we navigate together what birth and motherhood will look like for you. Meeting together for prenatal sessions will help prepare you and your support system for your upcoming labor.

  • Giving you 24/7 hour support in the weeks leading up to your birth. During labor and delivery, I will be there every step of the way as helper to you and your support system.

  • In the form of washing dishes and folding a load of laundry or providing lactation support (or anything in between) let me help you create sacred space in your home as you welcome your little one into your life.
